Local, state and federal agencies will prepare for disaster at the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport on April 24.

The drill is designed to test response plans and methods at the airport. The scenario will involve an aircraft fire, terrorists on a plane and hazardous materials.

The public is invited to an equipment fair at the airport from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Friday. The equipment fair will display airport fire fighting and other rescue/disaster equipment.

Officials on site at the fair will answer questions from the public and demonstrate the equipment.
