Cans Film Festival set for Saturday at Cape theater

Wehrenberg Theatres will host its annual Cans Film Festival on Saturday. Guests who bring five canned food items to any Wehrenberg Theatre will receive free admission to any movie starting before 5 p.m.

Those who bring an additional 10 cans or more, for a total of 15 or more per person, will also receive a free movie pass applicable to a future visit.

In addition, Wehrenberg Theatres will award a yearlong movie pass to the single largest donation received in the theater circuit.

The festival will benefit the Salvation Army's "ree of Lights campaign. The cans collected during the festival are used to stock local food pantries during the holiday season.
