Candidates invited to newspaper for workshop

The Southeast Missourian is conducting a workshop for election candidates Thursday morning.

Bollinger, Scott and Cape Girardeau County candidates for contested races in all county offices have been contacted by letter and are encouraged to attend. At the workshop, candidates will learn how to reach the newspaper audience through news -- both print and online -- and advertising. The meeting will be at 7 a.m. at the Southeast Missourian building. For candidates unable to attend but wishing to do so, a follow-up meeting will be held depending on interest.
