Candidates for Bollinger County municipal and school board elections April 2 have begun filing for races.

In Marble Hill, Mo., local businessman Kenny Trentham and former alderman Clint Lacy have filed in Ward 1 for the position currently held by Tim McCain.

In Ward 2, Belinda Brown filed for the seat currently held by James Sear.

Incumbents Chris Rhodes and Brian Johnson have filed for re-election to the Woodland School Board.

In the Leopold School District, incumbent Jim Thele has filed for re-election.

No one has filed in Meadow Heights or Zalma school districts.

Individuals interested in running for office in Marble Hill, Sedgewickville, Mo., Glenallen, Mo., or Zalma, Mo., or for any of the two open spots in each of the county's four school districts, have until Tuesday to file. Filing for municipal office takes place in each community's city hall. School board candidates can file at the superintendent's office of each district.
