WHY ARE YOU THE BEST CANDIDATE IN THE RACE?

I was Deputy Clerk for nine years in the Scott County Recorder's office. I was appointed Recorder of Deeds, by Governor Jay Nixon, after the unfortunate passing of Tom Dirnberger in August of 2011. Scott County deserves the dedication and service they have become familiar with in the Recorder's office. With my knowledge and experience I feel that I am the right candidate to continue that dedication and service.

Working in the Recorder's office for the last ten years has given me the opportunity to learn each and every task of the office. I am not only capable of managing the office, but also preforming those tasks on a daily basis. I have knowledge of the recording statutes, legal documents and financial distributions of our office.
