__What is the most important issue facing the fire district?:__

There is always a need for more members to continue the service the department provides. I see another need that need's to be addressed and that is the need to lower the ISO rating that we have. If the ISO rating is lowered then the taxpayers will have lower insurance bills and everybody would like lower homeowners insurance.

__How would you describe an ideal board member?:__

Someone with experience in the fire service. Someone who can work with other board members, members of the department and also listen to the concerns of the taxpayers in the district to address their concerns.

__What makes you the most qualified candidate for this position?:__

I have over 20 years service with the department. As I am "retired" from the department, I feel that I can still help them as a board member.
