__What makes you the most qualified candidate for this position?:__
As a graduate and lifelong resident of Scott City, I have a lot of Ram Pride. I'm old enough to have been raised with of fashioned morales and values and young enough to embrace new opportunities and change. My only agenda is to help provide our town's students with the best education, opportunities, and learning environment that we can give them.
__What do you see as the opportunities and challenges in the district?:__
With the additions of a new superintendent, elementary principal, the approved bond issue, and completion of the new FEMA shelter, several new opportunities are coming. I believe our future is definitely looking bright. Challenges will no doubt come. I hope to have the opportunity to bring a fresh outlook and work with the current board to continue to overcome whatever obstacles may arise.
__What are the factors on which you will base your decisions as a school board member?:__
The biggest factor that I will use is the overall well being of the students and faculty, period. Ultimately this should be the main deciding factor. Well researched information, truth, and the integrity to stand up for what you believe is right should also be present, along with the ability to keep an open mind, level head, and unbiased opinion.
