WHAT IS THE FINANCIAL STATE OF BOLLINGER COUNTY FOLLOWING THE RECESSION, AND HOW CAN IT BE IMPROVED?
The recession and limited resources have limited financial growth throughout the county. To over come this deficient the commissioners must find ways to bring in needed revenues and make careful decisions as they spend county taxes.
ARE THERE ANY SPECIFIC ACTIONS YOU THINK THE COUNTY CAN TAKE TO ENCOURAGE JOB GROWTH?
I think the county must work with city, state, and federal agencies and financial institutions to find incentive grants that would encourage businesses to locate here or to expand operations in Bollinger County. Thus creating jobs that are always needed.
WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PRIORITY FOR BOLLINGER COUNTY?
To start an asphalt program on stretches of hills where gravel washes off and start a fifty fifty partnership program with property owners to fund the project.
CLOSING REMARKS:
I would appreciate your vote, and if I am elected be of service to the voters in Bollinger County. I will be diligent and conservative as District 1 Commissioner in allocating the county revenues.
