I am passionate about my faith, family and community. My training in ministry and pastoral care, my service of seven years in public office, in addition to establishing a business, working with federal programs, and facilitating over 180 substitute teachers as an administrative assistant have appropriately equipped me for candidacy. Additionally, I have been endorsed in a previous campaign by the Missouri Right to Life. I care about the needs of those without a voice.
This public service position would allow me to do what I love most, public service and one-on-one compassionate care. Currently I work over 60 hours a week in two jobs that address each of these domains in the church and in the public school setting. I am seeking to combine these two disciplines into one job as public administrator working hard and efficiently to meet the needs of the wards of the county.
I am extremely grateful for the various opportunities I have had as a wife, mother, community volunteer, minister, ecumenical partner, employee, business owner and elected official. My education, life experience, and present community knowledge have led to seeking the opportunity to serve the wards of Cape County with dignity, respect and prayerful consideration. I am equipped to serve with compassion, insight and understanding with regard to practical needs in keeping with my civil and moral obligations.
