Vice President-Scott City Park Board. This is my 1st run for elected office.

WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE FACING SCOTT CITY SCHOOLS?:

We need to strive constantly to provide the best education we can for our kids across every level, giving them every opportunity for success k-12 and in life. Managing resources, facilities, personnel, and curriculum with that goal in mind is to me the most important challenge, among many, facing our district. I want every child at our school to have a rewarding and fulfilling educational experience.

WHAT IN YOUR BACKGROUND MAKES YOU QUALIFIED FOR THIS OFFICE?:

I've lived in Scott City for 40 years and its my alma mater-Class of l985. I graduated from SEMO in l989 with a B.S. in Business Administration before I began a career in sales and marketing. I've learned how to deal with all sorts of professionals in the business world and form working relationships with them to maximize their company's potential. I feel that experience and several years on the SC park board will allow me to do that in a school district setting. I will work hard and my door will always be open to the residents of our district.
