CANCER PROGRAM ACCREDITED

Cancer program accredited

The CancerCare Program at St. Francis Medical Center has been granted a three-year continuation of accreditation as a Community Cancer Program by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer.

Dr. M. Margaret Kemeny, chairwoman of the Commission on Cancer's Committee on Approvals, notified St. Francis president John M. Fidler of the accreditation renewal.

Nurse Mary Jane Crews coordinates the program at St. Francis. Oncologists on staff include Drs. Stanley D. Sides, Celia Chan and Benjamin Yuen.
