About 60 students from area high schools will have a chance to learn about business from area business representatives at Rotary Club Camp Enterprise this weekend.
The two-day event will be held at Peaceful Valley Baptist Church Camp near St. Marys. The camp is a seminar sponsored by Cape Girardeau and Jackson Rotary clubs.
"Our first year was successful, and we're looking forward to this year's camp," said Jeff Krantz, general chairman of the event. The 1993 event was held at the Boy Scouts' Camp Lewallen near Piedmont.
Business and community representatives will talk with students about the business issues and free enterprise.
Students also will have a chance to use computer business simulations when they are divided into groups functioning like small businesses competing against each other.
"They make decisions on buying, selling, advertising, inventory," Krantz said.
The program gets under way Saturday at 9 a.m.
