CAIRO, ILL.: CAMPATHON WILL BENEFIT AMBULANCE

CAIRO, ILL. A "campathon" will raise money for the Alexander County Ambulance Service.

At 10:30 a.m. Monday, WKRO radio personality Randy Scheiding and his faithful dog companion, Sundance, will climb the ladder to the roof of the Classics restaurant and camp out there until 400 people have pledged $14.90 per month for a year.

Scheiding will solicit telephone pledges from the roof. Funds raised will benefit the ambulance service in Alexander County.
