Daily American Republic ~ A Butler County, Missouri, man pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to illegally possessing a firearm.
Timothy G. Ossana, 45, will be sentenced Aug. 25 and faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
On Nov. 23, police officers in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, arrested Ossana on a federal arrest warrant.
His vehicle was searched, and officers reportedly found a Ruger .38-caliber pistol hidden behind the driver's door window control panel. Ossana admitted the pistol was his.
Ossana was convicted of aggravated assault in 1999, possession of a narcotic drug in 2004 and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm in 2010. Because of that, he was prohibited from possessing a firearm.
