BUSINESS SEMINAR

SIKESTON -- Rick Sparks, business and industry specialist with University of Missouri Extension, and Buz Sutherland of the Small Business Development Center of Southeast Missouri State University will present a small business workshop at Sikeston.

The three-hour session, to be held at the Vo-Tech School here, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., will feature such topics as personal considerations, new business start-up/buyout/franchising, financing a small business, recordkeeping, developing a business plan and others.

The workshop, which costs $20 per participant, is designed for those who are planning to start a business, but would also be helpful to those currently engaged in their own business.
