A Technical Assistance Forum for women and minorities will be presented Saturday at the Cape Girardeau Vocational-Technical School, 301 N. Clark.
The free forum, sponsored by the state of Missouri and city of Cape Girardeau, will be held in Room 214 at the vo-tech school, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The forum is part of the Minority & Women Business Enhancement project, a state effort to increase minority and women business enterprises' participation in Community Development Block Grant projects.
Bill Mallory, project director for St. Louis Minority Business Development Center, will be guest speaker and will review the business plan development process. Officials from the city and state will discuss a number of items, including doing business with state and local government.
Small Business Administration and University Extension representatives will discuss services they provide to small businesses.
