SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- President Bush will visit southwest Missouri on Monday to talk about his economic initiatives while participating in a forum with small business owners and workers.

Bush will appear as part of "A Conversation on the Economy" in Springfield from 12:25 p.m. to 1:25 p.m. at SRC Automotive, Inc., 4431 W. Calhoun.

He is expected to talk about a number of his economic initiatives, including a growing economy, strong employment numbers and job creation programs, the White House said.

Bush also will recognize SRC Automotive employee Travis Morrison for his volunteer work in helping victims recover from severe storms and tornados that hit the state in May, the White House said. Morrison and co-workers volunteer at United Way.
