Burger Lane has added a breakfast menu to its services.
"The new menu includes a number of breakfast sandwiches: sausage, egg and cheese, bacon, egg and cheese, egg and cheese, and sausage biscuit," said Bruce Smith, manager of the restaurant located at Route K and St. Francis Drive.
Also on the menu are biscuits and gravy, hash browns, and Dixie Cream donuts.
"We make our own donuts fresh every morning," added Smith. "They include glazed and cake donuts, long johns, custard cream horns and cinnamon rolls. These will be available throughout most of the day."
Smith said that a big TV screen had been added to the lobby.
The breakfast menu is served from 7-11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday and from 6-10:30 a.m. weekdays.
"We have also initiated a special Senior Citizens Day," said Smith. "Each Wednesday, senior citizens will receive free coffee and donuts from 6-10 a.m."
Burger Lane, which opened in 1989 as drive-through restaurant, expanded the business in 1991 to include sit-down service.
