BURFORDVILLE MAN INJURED

JACKSON -- A Burfordville man was seriously injured Tuesday in a one-vehicle accident in Jackson, Jackson police reported.

Jackson police said Jeffrey Dale Henry, 27, was westbound on Highway 34 near West Lane when he lost control of the truck he was driving and the truck struck a utility pole.

Henry was transferred by helicopter to St. Francis Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition late Tuesday night, according to a hospital spokesperson.

The accident occurred at 7:20 p.m., police said. Henry was alone in the truck at the time of the accident, police said.
