Three killed in traffic accident in Poplar Bluff
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Three women from Poplar Bluff were killed in a two-car accident near their hometown, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. Christine Huffman, 38; Tiffany Huffman, 21; and Angela Prichard, 21, died in the accident Friday on U.S. 67 south of Poplar Bluff. A car driven by Christine Huffman crossed the center line of the highway and hit another car head on, the patrol said. The driver of the second car suffered minor injuries, the patrol said.
Crash near airport claims two lives
CHESTERFIELD, Mo. -- Two men died after their vehicle collided with an oil truck near Spirit of St. Louis Airport, police said. The names of the two men who were killed Saturday were not released. The truck driver was injured.
St. Charles brothers die in car accident
ST. CHARLES, Mo. -- Two brothers died Friday after their car spun out of control on Missouri 94 in St. Charles County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol identified the brothers as Andrew Searcy, 19, and Joshua Searcy, 15, of St. Charles. The patrol said the Searcys' car spun into the path of an oncoming car. They were pronounced dead at the scene. A woman and her teenage daughter in the other car suffered minor injuries.
