Anonymous tips made to Cape Girardeau police about a suspect in Wednesday's robbery at Best Buy, 3026 William St., led police to request charges against him Friday. Sgt. Barry Hovis said Friday that the suspect is already in custody in Cape Girardeau County Jail on a separate stealing incident in lieu of a $2,500 cash-only bond. Hovis said tipsters identified the suspect after seeing news reports of the robbery where photos of him taken from the store's surveillance cameras were displayed.
