Neal E. Boyd is now one of the finalists on NBC's competition show "America's Got Talent."
The top 10 acts to make it to the finals were announced Thursday night in a condensed 30-minute show that featured recaps of their performances Tuesday and Wednesday. The show was originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. but moved to 7 p.m. on short notice.
Boyd performed Tuesday as one of the top 20, singing the Il Divo song "Mama," with his mother, Esther Boyd, in the audience for the first time. The show returns at 7 p.m. Tuesday, when the final 10 acts compete for the grand prize of $1 million and a chance at a show on the Las Vegas strip.
