The Cape County Tea Party will hold its monthly meeting, Third Tuesday Tea Time, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cape Girardeau Public Library.

Dr. Wayne Bowen, a member of the Cape Girardeau City Council, chairman of the history department at Southeast Missouri State University and a Southeast Missourian columnist, will be at the meeting to lead discussion on matters such as the city budget and tax options that are before the city council, according to a news release issued by the organization. The meeting is open to everyone regardless of political party or ideology and participation is encouraged.
