The 10th annual Bootheel Bluegrass Festival is scheduled for Jan. 22, 23 and 24 at Bavarian Halle in Jackson.
New this year are performances by Mountain Faith, a bluegrass group from Sylva, North Carolina, that has been performing for 14 years.
Thursday's performances -- an all-gospel night -- begin at 7 p.m. and include The Gipsons, The Lewises, Bob & Barb and Mountain Faith. The cost is $8.
Performing Friday will be The Lewises, That Dalton Gang, The Gordons, Mountain Faith, The Baker and Bull Harman and Bull's Eye. Performances begin at 1 p.m.; the cost is $15.
Saturday's lineup includes The Gipsons, Charlie & The Girls, George Portz and Friends, The Bakers, Herbie Johnston & Fiddler's Frolic and Bull Harman and Bull's Eye. Performances start at 2 p.m.; cost is $15.
A weekend pass is $28; anyone age 16 and younger is admitted free. Tickets are available at the door.
Dinner will be available Friday and Saturday, and three hotels are offering discounted rates for showgoers. Guest bands are welcome, and vendor space is available.
