BOND WILL SPEAK AT ZELDA COZEAN LECTURE
FLAT RIVER -- U.S. Sen. Christopher Bond will speak at Mineral Area Community College Monday as part of the recently formed Zelda Martin Cozean Lecture Series. The Zelda Martin Cozean Lecture Series is a memorial tribute to a long-time resident of the Mineral Area. Cozean strongly advocated education and community service.
The lecture series is sponsored by members of her family, including Dr. Charles H. Cozean Jr. of Cape Girardeau, her son.
The lecture series is designed to bring prominent lecturers to the Mineral Area College campus and to provide a platform for social, political and economic debate.
