MARBLE HILL -- The Bollinger County Historical Society will honor the late Mary Louisa Hahn, local historian, at a special meeting Sunday at 2 p.m.
Hahn, who was a chronicler of area history and a chief engineer in the formation of the county's historical society, died June 16.
Weather permitting, the meeting will be held on the grounds of the Massey House. Bring lawn chairs. In case of rain, the meeting will be held in the courtroom of the Bollinger County Courthouse.
A fund has been established for contributions in Hahn's honor, and so far $1,300 has been donated. The money will be used to fund publication of "Echo V," a new volume of the society's continuing effort to record the biography of Bollinger County. The publication will be dedicated to Hahn.
