__The last state audit indicated the county clerk's office could do a better job with coordinating with other offices in the courthouse to make recod keepign and communication more efficient. What are some ways to improve in this regard?:__

I feel it is the job of the elected Officials in the Bollinger County Courthouse to work together 100% for the citizens of Bollinger County. The first step to this is to have the ability to admit if you have made a mistake and then have the willingness to work together to correct the mistake. If we aren't working together then we aren't moving forward on improvements needed.

__How can the county clerk's office help in improving voter participation?:__

We should inform the residents instead of assuming that everyone already knows or understands the voting process or what may be on the ballot. If someone has a question then we should work to find the answer together.

__Why are you the best candidate for the position?:__

I feel it is time for change. There were several things in the last audit that I feel could be changed to improve the overall rating that the County received if we will work together. I strongly believe in being courteous to others, maintaining a friendly work environment and being efficient in my duties. I feel that if change is not made then the office will continue in the same direction it has been going.
