The boil-water advisory is over for an estimated 12,000 residents affected by Friday's water main break.

Kevin Priester, manager for Alliance Water, which operates the city's water service, said residents should run water through the taps to refresh the supply. Follow manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning appliances connected to water systems, such as ice makers.

Restuarants and convenience stores must follow county health department guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing equipment connected to the water system.
