Deputy Fire Chief Scott Seppelt said the two-story home was blown from its foundation.
Upon arriving, the Florissant Valley Fire Protection District found natural gas spewing from a break in the line at the meter. Flames burned off escaping gas for hours before utility workers could shut off the flow.
Investigator Tim Green of the Florissant police combed through the debris Sunday morning,
