Bob Hendrix, who served as Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce president 21-plus years will be "roasted" and "toasted" at a banquet, to be held Nov. 13, at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau.
Hendrix, who announced his retirement from the Chamber earlier this year, will leave the chamber Nov. 19.
"Bob has been honored by his peers at the Chamber of Commerce Executives of Missouri (CCEM) by their presenting him a lifetime membership -- only the second person to ever receive a life membership in the CCEM," said Harry Rediger, chairman of the local chamber board. "We hope to show our appreciation for his dedication to Cape Girardeau and the Chamber at the November roast and toast."
The Nov. 13 event will start with a social hour at 6 p.m., with dinner at 7 p.m. Cost of the event is $25 per person.
Additional information and reservations are available by calling the chamber office at 335-3312.
