Jackson voters will get a chance to find out how candidates for the Board of Education feel on various topics Tuesday night.
The 1999 Board of Education candidates for the Jackson School District will answer questions from the public March 16 from 7-9 p.m. at the Jackson Middle School library.
The forum is sponsored by the Jacksonian Charter Chapter of American Business Women's Association to help voters make informed school board choices.
Candidates competing for the open seats are incumbents T. Wayne Lewis, Darrell Hanschen and Vicky McDowell, and newcomers Mark Baker, Jewell Beauchamp and Susan Farrow.
This year's moderator will be Charlie Neece from KFVS-TV 12. All registered voters and taxpayers in the school district are invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
