GRASSY -- An annual Bluegrass Festival will be held this weekend at the Arrowhead Campgrounds at Grassy.
The festival is sponsored by the Ozark Bluegrass and Gospel Music Association and features Jim Orchard and the Bressler Brothers from Eminence, Bluegrass Mountaineers from Bismark, Ezell Family from Marble Hill, Heartland Gospel from Vulcan, and J.C. Express from Hillsboro.
Show times are Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $6 for Friday or Saturday night; $8 for Saturday all day; and $13 for a weekend pass. Children under age 12 are admitted free.
The campground is located about 45 miles west of Cape Girardeau on highway 34, then south on Highway Y.
Camping facilities are available. No alcoholic beverages allowed. Those attending are asked to bring lawn chairs.
