Several blood drives to support the American Red Cross have been scheduled.

On Tuesday, Notre Dame High School's National Honor Society will hold a blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the multipurpose room, 1912 Ritter in Cape Girardeau. All donors will receive T-shirts.

The Church of Christ, 310 N. Shawnee in Jackson, will hold a blood drive from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

On May 20, the Jackson Community Blood Drive will be held at the American Legion Hall on North High Street. The blood drive will be held from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Cape Central High School will hold a blood drive May 21 at the new gym, 205 Caruthers. The blood drive will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and all donors will receive a T-shirt.

Lone Star Industries will hold a blood drive May 24 from noon to 4 in the natatorium. All donors will receive a T-shirt.

Also on May 24, Southeast Missouri Hospital's Jackson Outreach Services in the Main Street Fitness community room at 410 W. Main, will hold a blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. All donors will receive a T-shirt.

All blood types are needed, but Type O blood is particularly needed. For more information about blood drives scheduled in the area, call the American Red Cross at 1-800-GIVE-LIFE.
