CAPE GIRARDEAU - Cape Central High School Student Council is sponsoring a blood drive Friday in the school's new gymnasium.
The drive will be held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. An article in the Wednesday edition of the Southeast Missourian listed incorrect times for the event.
Students age 17 and older, parents, alumni, booster club members and the public are being asked to attend the drive.
Cape Central holds the state record for the most units collected at a high school-sponsored blood drive. Last year, the students collected 362 units.
