A Blanchard Elementary teacher, Mrs. Heather Fisher, made an effort to bring the pumpkin patch to Blanchard Elementary School this year since field trips are canceled due to COVID-19. With the help of the Parent Teacher Organization, Fisher was able to bring about two-hundred and fifty pumpkins from a Perryville farm that usually hosts Blanchard field trips to a field next to the school. This week, every class is getting a chance to pick pumpkins and play with various toys. Mrs. Crystal Williams' kindergarten class and Mrs. Scarlet Winans' first grade class had their chance on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2020 to enjoy the pumpkin patch.
