The author of the book, "Blackballed: The Black and White Politics of Race on America's Campuses," will speak March 29 at Southeast Missouri State University.
Lawrence Ross will discuss racism on college campuses, how to have difficult conversations on the topic and solutions moving forward.
The presentation is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Academic Hall Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Copies of Ross' book are available at the Southeast Bookstore. The event is sponsored by the university's Office of Greek Life, Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity, Student Government Association, the National Pan-Hellenic Council and the Residence Hall Association.
