Bishop John J. Leibrecht of the Springfield-Cape Girardeau Diocese will visit Immaculate Conception Parish in Jackson on Nov. 7, 8 and 9.
On Saturday, Nov. 7, Bishop Leibrecht will celebrate the 5 p.m. Mass in Immaculate Conception Church at which time 118 teenage candidates will be presented to him for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Bishop Leibrecht will also celebrate the 7, 8:30 and 11:30 a.m. Masses on Sunday, Nov. 8, and visit the parish religion classes at 9:40 the same morning.
On Nov. 9, Bishop Leibrecht will visit Immaculate Conception School and celebrate an all-school Mass at 10:30 a.m.
The pastor presently serving Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson is Rev. Msgr. Edward M. Eftink.
