Martha Skinner of Jackson was a big winner during the recent Case Power & Equipment loader/back hoe rodeo held in Fenton.

Skinner received a crystal plaque and $50 in cash for winning the ladies' "Lift and Stack" division of competition.

In the men's division, two area operations finished in the top three. Tim Beussink of Gordonville finished in the runnerup position, and Mark Skinner of Jackson finished third.

A total of 91 contestants entered the men's competition. D. Dixon of South Roxanna, Ill., was the winner. He will receive a trip for two to Phoenix, Ariz., to participate in the North American finals.

The men's competition was comprised of three events to test the operator's skill, flexibility and adaptability. They events were "Spot the Bucket," "Tic Tac Toe" and "Pipe Set."

Beussink and Skinner each received a crystal plaque. Beussink received $200 for his runnerup finish, and Skinner received $100 for third.

Case Power and Equipment has two Missouri locations, at Fenton and at 844 S. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau. Both locations handle Case construction equipment, parts and offer service.
