Bicycle riders will meet at Dutchtown at 2 p.m. Sunday for the Velo Girardeau Bicycle Club's 32-mile, Whitewater-Chaffee ride Sunday.
The ride features several flat stretches, and "just enough hills to keep it interesting," said club spokesman Ann Bartlett.
The Velo Club will take its first ride on the Katy Trail June 16. Riders will meet at Kent Library on Southeast Missouri State University campus at 7 a.m., or at Francis Howell High School on Highway 94 in St. Charles. The ride will be from Augusta, Mo. to Weldon Springs and back, a distance of 30 level miles.
