BICYCLE RIDES
Bicycle riders will meet at Kent Library on Southeast Missouri State University campus for the VELO Girardeau Bicycle Club ride Sunday. The 35-mile, P & G Loop Breakfast Ride gets under way at 8 a.m. with the first stop at Fruitland for breakfast at the Frontier Restaurant. Riders will then head for the Procter & Gamble plant and Trail of Tears Park.
The first May ride will be the "Jim Davis Memorial" ride, a 25-mile jaunt north of Cape Girardeau, with a couple of downhill runs. Riders will meet at 2 p.m. at Kent Library.
