Beverly Horton

SIKESTON -- Beverly Horton, 37, of Sikeston died Sunday, July 20, 1997, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 21, 1959, in rural Charleston, daughter of Elbert Horton Sr. and Mary Lee Riggin.

Horton attended Charleston High School. She was a certified medical technician.

Survivors include a son, Anthony Horton of Sikeston; a daughter, Schemekia Horton of Charleston; her mother of Charleston; three brothers, Elbert Horton Jr. and David Riggin of Charleston and Charles Bankhead of Springfield, Ill.; five sisters, Maggie and Evelyn Horton, Audrey and Glenis Riggin, all of Charleston and Carolyn Lyons of Normal, Ill.; and a special friend, Robert Triplett of Sikeston.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston from 7-8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Bowden Civic Center in Charleston, with Robert Lyons officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
