Bertrand teen injured in Tuesday evening crash

MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, Mo. - An 18-year-old Bertrand female was injured during a crash on Route B two miles south of Highway 157 Tuesday evening.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at around 5:37 p.m. a 1997 Chevrolet driven by Ollie R. Stoner had come to a stop on Route B and was trying to make a left turn. A 2001 Chrysler driven by Misti L. Beroush, 30, of Sikeston, Mo., then struck the Chevrolet in the rear.

Both vehicles sustained extensive damage. Stoner was transported to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, where she was treated for moderate injuries.
