A Bernie, Mo., couple was sentenced to federal prison Monday on methamphetamine-related charges.
Nelson Lamon Hickman, 38, and Bobbie Jane Hickman, 32, were sentenced on one count of conspiracy to possess chemicals knowing they would be used to manufacture methamphetamine by U.S. District Judge Rodney W. Sippel in Cape Girardeau, according to the Federal prosecutor's office.
Sippel sentenced Nelson Hickman to seven years in federal prison, followed by a three-year term of supervised release.
Sippel sentenced Bobbie Hickman to six years and two months, followed by a two-year term of supervised release.
With their previous pleas, the Hickmans admitted to collecting pseudoephedrine pills, which they turned over to others for the purpose of manufacturing methamphetamine.
