Southeast Missouri State University Recreational Sports Department and Southeast Hospital Wellness Center are teaming up to sponsor a step-aerobics class and a charity walk to benefit Toybox.

The class will be held in the Student Recreation Center Wednesday at 7 p.m. Each participant is asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy for a child up to age 12. Canned goods to be donated to FISH will also be accepted.

The first part of the class will be step aerobics, to be followed by a circuit workout.

There are 60 step boxes available, but those who own their own boxes are asked to bring them.

Walkers are also invited to joina walk for charity Wednesday. Walkers will form a track around the step class and walk at their own pace. Participants for the walk are also asked to bring a new toy.

Child care for Step Up and walkers for charity will be provided by Gamma Sigma Sigma. The wellness center instructors are donating their time to lead the class and the circuit workouts and the Student Recreation Center is donating the facility.
