New officers were elected at the annual meeting of the Otahki Girl Scout Council held recently in Perryville.
Shirley Beggs is president. Carolyn Goodin and Dolly Jewel, are vice presidents. Mary Kay Day treasurer. Grace Hoover is secretary. They are all from Cape Girardeau.
Joyce Miller, Nancy Bray, Drew Laudie, Linda Dillman, Robert King and Lori Bollinger, all of Cape Girardeau, were elected as members-at-large to the board of directors.
Other members elected to the board were Claudia Horne of Piedmont; Judy Jones, Marble Hill; Marian George, Cobden, Ill.; Sharon Stinson, Jackson; and Christy VanGennip, Glen Allen.
Members of the council nominating committee for 1993 are Randy Pribble, Perryville; Peggy Barringer, Bekki Cook and Joyce Miller, Cape Girardeau; and Susan Hase, Anna, Ill.
Delegates to the national Girl Scout Council meeting, to be held in Minneapolis in October 1993, are Shirley Beggs, Carolyn Goodin and Elsie Miller.
In other business, council members approved a revision of by-laws and goals for 1993 were discussed.
Otahki Council served 3,676 girls and adults in its 11 county area.
