BBQ FEST TROPHY WINNERS ANNOUNCED

Grand champion of the weekend Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce BBQ Fest was Cape Electric Supply. It was followed by Bills Boars, Ribs and Butts and Kohfeld Smokehouse Gang in total points.

Teams awarded trophies during the event:

For hamburgers -- River Eagle Pork Busters, first place; Kohfeld Smokehouse Gang, second place; Thorngate, third place.

For beef kabobs -- Bills Boars, first place; First Missouri Terminals, second place; Thorngate, third place.

For ribs -- Cape Electric Supply, first place; Bills Boars, second place; Boatmen's Smokers, third place.

For pork steaks -- Cape Electric Supply, first place; Ribs and Butts, second place; River Eagle Pork Busters, third place.

For Boston butts -- Ribs and Butts, first place; Midwest Agri-Chemico, second place; LDD Inc., third place.

For beef brisket -- Bills Boars, first place; Thorngate, second place; Davis Farms Hunting Club, third place.
