CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Bart Ozbun has been named assistant vice president of Boatmen's National Bank of Cape Girardeau. In addition to his position with Boatmen's of Cape Girardeau, Ozbun also serves as vice president of Boatmen's Investment Services, Inc., a subsidiary of Boatmen's Bank.
Ozbun joined the bank in March of 1986, as an investment representative. In 1987, he was promoted to vice president and Regional Manager of Southeast Missouri for Boatmen's Investment Services, Inc.
Ozbun holds several securities licenses and is a National Association of Securities Dealers Registered Principal.
He is a graduate of Arkansas State University, with a B.S. in finance.
His responsibilities are advising clients on investment opportunities including taxable, tax-exempt and tax-deferred alternatives such as stocks, mutual funds, and tax deferred annuities.
Throughout his career he has received several awards, including the Boatmen's Investment Services 110% award for outstanding performances.
Ozbun is new projects director for the Lions Club, vice chairman of the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce Membership Committee and serves as a fund raiser for both the Boy Scouts and United Way.
A native of Senath, he and his wife, Lorili, have one son, and live in Cape Girardeau.
