David Harline has joined the staff of AmeriFirst Bank of Cape Girardeau as vice president and loan officer. Jim Goble, bank president, made the announcement. "Harline was previously a loan officer with Mercantile Bank in Sikeston and also worked for Savings of America as a branch manager in Malden and Portageville," Goble said. Harline earned a bachelor degree in business administration with emphasis in finance from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He and his wife, Kathy, have three children and are moving to the Cape Girardeau area soon.

The bank recently moved to new facilities along Route K in front of St. Francis Medical Center.
