Charlene Peyton, gospel and contemporary vocalist, will be featured at the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band concert at 8 tonight in Capaha Park.
Peyton will sing several selections with piano and taped accompaniment in the middle of the band program.
The celebrity guest conductor, Cape Girardeau Chief of Police Howard Boyd, will conduct "El Capitan March."
Other selections on the program include "Tribute Concert March," "Fall River Overture," "A Salute to Bob Hope," "American Folk Rhapsody No. 1," and the score to the Broadway musical "Sound of Music."
Those attending the free concert are asked to bring a lawn chair.
