OAK RIDGE -- Richard Baer and incumbent Steve Schonhoff were elected Tuesday to the Oak Ridge Board of Education.
Baer received 165 votes and Schonhoff received 137 to share 70 percent of the votes cast for the two, three-year terms on the board.
Candidate Wes Hall received 68 votes and Judy Abrisz received 62.
Baer will take former board member Paul Strickland's place on the board. Strickland didn't file for re-election to the seat.
Also in Oak Ridge, no candidates filed for one city trustee seat that was up for election. The Cape Girardeau County clerk's office Tuesday reported no write-in candidates for the trustee's seat.
